The mission of the Floyd County Police Department is to ensure the safekeeping and protection of human life and to assist individuals who are in danger of physical harm. The department will also provide surveillance protection of all private, business, and public properties within the jurisdiction of the Floyd County Georgia, and direct and participate in public well-being and safety efforts when the jurisdiction is threatened by natural disasters.
